The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Warriors Party

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of heroes, and a thrilling plot showcasing angels, demons, and dark forces expanding in strength within the city.

Warning: Spoilers for the latest installment of this adventure lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Revealed

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and presented the premier party of adventurers who will branch out from the main group to undertake their own adventure, separate from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), Thimble (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Given an extensive roster, it was clear from the start that maintaining everyone at one table would be unworkable.

Hence, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, weaving together the characters’ stories before branching into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

As described by the DM, the Soldiers table is for players who are drawn to a traditionally charged battle-oriented gameplay experience where diplomatic options are rare.

Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might appear mismatched, but the developments of the third episode show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the team understands precisely where to proceed after a brutal initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose passing kicked off the story’s plot—exploited the enemy for his personal gain, invading the hidden lair, attacking the character, and swiping all the enchanted items to sell off.

The traitor then paid off his liabilities and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each member has a individual motive to depart the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and best friend, seeks vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the region and advises that it is a hostile place.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to eliminate the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their status as key figures in the powerful family could enable the group enter places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The grateful character vowed a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him everywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are wanted by the authorities that rule Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The healer turned against House Halovar and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by the clan.

This leaves them few options but to head to the remote area in quest for the antagonist.

What’s Next?

According to the recent installment’s follow-up content, we discover that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the rest of the participants to round up the Seekers and Planners groups.

Viewers can anticipate learning which characters will be assigned to which table in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on October 24.
